Turn your iPhone or iPad into a motion alarm. Arm StayPut, put your device down, and it sounds the alarm if your device is moved after it becomes armed.
How it works
Arm it, then let it settle.

Position it where movement should be detected.
Stillness Before Armed
StayPut waits until the device has remained still. If it moves, the countdown starts again.
Movement sounds the alarm
Once Armed, movement can trigger the alarm. Return and disarm StayPut when you're ready.
Remote Alerts
Know when your other StayPut device moves
With StayPut Pro, a protected device can send a Remote Alert to another StayPut device. Receiving Remote Alerts is free. Leave your iPad with your belongings, arm StayPut, and carry your iPhone. If the iPad detects movement, it sounds its alarm and your iPhone can receive a Remote Alert.

When protection is active, StayPut uses owner authentication with Face ID or Touch ID before disarming.
StayPut is designed as an audible movement alarm and deterrent for nearby personal belongings. It does not provide remote tracking, theft recovery, or physical protection.

Quick access from Control Centre
Arm StayPut from Control Centre using your current Profile or Custom setup, or create dedicated controls for saved Profiles such as Sleep Guard or Office. Disarm always opens StayPut and requires Face ID or Touch ID.
Save your setup as a Profile
Create named Profiles for different situations and switch between them without reconfiguring StayPut each time. A Profile saves your Protection and Audio settings, including custom preset names and values, so you can quickly recall setups for luggage, a hotel room, a bicycle or any other scenario.
Switch Profiles directly from the Disarmed screen before arming, or manage them in Settings.

Make the alarm louder with an external speaker
If your iPhone or iPad is inside a bag or luggage, its built-in speaker can be muffled. Connect a Bluetooth speaker and StayPut can sound the alarm through that external audio output instead.
StayPut shows the current alarm output before you arm.
Background monitoring
See what StayPut is doing from your Lock Screen
Once protection starts, StayPut is designed to continue operating while your iPhone or iPad is locked or the app is in the background. A Live Activity can show the current protection state, countdowns and relevant controls directly on the Lock Screen.
If Live Activities are disabled or unavailable, StayPut automatically falls back to informative iOS background status updates while protection continues.
StayPut keeps you informed while your device is locked, showing whether it is waiting to arm, preparing, armed, or responding to movement.
Important: StayPut is an audible motion alarm and deterrent. It is not a replacement for
physical locks, secure storage, or a dedicated security system.
